The product
What makes the Sports Shade Pro different from a folding chair and an umbrella?
It has a built-in dome canopy. A folding chair leaves you exposed, and an umbrella or gazebo is a separate thing to carry, set up and hold. This is one piece of kit: chair and shade together, out of one bag.
Does the canopy protect from rain as well as sun?
Yes. The dome gives shade from sun and shelter from rain, so you can stay put when the weather turns.
How long does it take to set up?
Under 30 seconds. The frame uses a spring-lock mechanism, so it opens in one motion with no poles to assemble or pegs to drive.
Does it get hot under the canopy?
No. The dome has mesh windows and engineered airflow, so air moves through rather than trapping heat underneath.
Does it have window covers?
Yes. The current chairs add velcro covers for the mesh windows. They fold down when you want the windows open.
What colour is it?
Orange and black. Some photos on the site still show our earlier green and black chair while new photography is on the way.
How much weight does it hold?
Up to 136 kg.
Does it come with a carry bag?
Yes. It packs down into a single bag, so it is one thing to carry rather than several.
What are the folded dimensions?
Folded, it measures 46 × 23 × 100 cm and packs into a single carry bag.
How much does the chair weigh?
Around 6 kg on its own, or 7.9 kg boxed for shipping.
Are there drink holders?
Yes, built into the chair.
Ordering
Can I buy more than one?
Yes. There are bundle options for two and three chairs, with a lower price per chair.
What payment methods can I use?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Afterpay is available so you can pay in four instalments.
Shipping and delivery
Where do you ship?
Australia and the United States. Australian orders ship from Western Australia, US orders from within the United States.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is $35, and we run free-shipping offers regularly.
Do you ship anywhere else?
Not at the moment — Australia and the United States only.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
We want you to love your chair. If something isn't right, email us at admin@kampsmart.co and we'll look after you. You can also read our full returns policy.
What if something arrives damaged?
Email admin@kampsmart.co with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort it out.
